We have had our great family sailing adventure and we now look forward to helping others, regardless of the size of the desired adventure, to achieve their own goals. To do this, Fluenta Marine Services was established to provide the following services: Yacht Brokerage through Yacht Sales West, Sail Training for individuals on their boats or through support to Sailing Schools, Maintenance, Consulting,'Owner's Representative' and Project Management to prepare boats and owners for extended cruising or passage making, and Vessel Deliveries; Max's background as a professional engineer in the aerospace industry includes extensive work in project and programme management. This, coupled with his experience teaching sailing and then taking his family on a seven year adventure around the Pacific, provides a relatively unique perspective on the challenges and requirements facing new boat owners. A summary of Max's qualifications and experience are listed below: Extensive engineering management experience including technical airworthiness authority for a fleet of maritime helicopters. Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB) CRYA Yachtmaster Offshore Instructor and Sail Canada Advanced Cruising Instructor, RYA Yachtmaster Ocean/Master of Yachts 200 GT, MCA Approved Engine Course and extensive hands-on maintenance experience, Background in formal risk management and considerable commercial and military sea survival, first responder and safety training, and Not including time on ships, + nm of experience in a very variety of yachts sailing in the UK, the Caribbean, on both coasts of North America (from the Aleutians to Mexico on the west coast and from St Pierre Miquelon to Massachusetts and Bermuda on the east coast) and more recently in the South Pacific and Micronesia.
