FM SolarSystems is the registered trademark of Sombralternativa, Lda, a Portuguese company that specialises in developing and implementing technical structures for roofing projects. Founded in 2022, the company brings together a team of experienced professionals with over 16 years' experience in metal-textile solutions, solar carports and industrial structures. This combination of technical expertise and practical engineering enables us to deliver robust, efficient solutions that are fully tailored to each project. We operate in three complementary areas – metal-textile, solar and industrial – to guarantee a comprehensive turnkey service, covering everything from civil works and manufacturing to transport and final assembly. We collaborate with companies and public entities that seek quality, safety and precision in every detail. At FM SolarSystems, we design each structure to enhance space performance, optimise resources, and keep pace with the technological evolution of the sector.
