In the early 1990s, dentistry in India was largely fragmented and patients were compelled to visit multiple clinics for consulting different specialties. Recognizing this gap, Dr. P.Parthasarathi Reddy envisioned a hospital-based, multi-specialty model that would unite all branches of dentistry under one roof, with global safety protocols and a patient-centred philosophy at its core. This vision led to the establishment of FMS Dental in 1993, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey. Today, FMS is recognized as a comprehensive, multi-specialty network with its flagship FMS International Dental centers in Hyderabad and Kochi reflecting global standards in patient care, supported by 10 strategically located multi-specialty dental clinics across Hyderabad, designed to extend high standard of care with affordability as a core value. Besides this, a full-fledged Dental Hospital, with in-patient facilities, an operation theatre and an ICU was established in 1995 at koti to deliver complex surgical procedures under the same roof. At the heart of its success lies the FMS Dental Lab, founded in 1996 that had grown into one of India’s most advanced CAD-CAM laboratories. Education is another pillar of its mission. Through its alliance with Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery (SSCDS), FMS drives GUIDE (Global Upgrade in Dental Education), an initiative that equips practicing dentists with advanced training, exposure to technology and global innovations—bridging academia with real-world practice.
