We are an independent publisher located in Newburyport, Massachusetts, producing high quality books and textbooks for the educational community as well as for the general reader.Cinema for French Conversation was the catalyst for our ground-breaking series that uses cinema as the basis for teaching foreign languages. Our translations in Classics and Philosophy are revered as some of the best available, and are used widely in the classroom, as well as on stage. Focus also functions as the primary U.S. Distributor for the famous Latin immersion series by Hans Orberg, Lingua Latina per se illustrata. Our Greek library includes an array of Classical and Ancient Greek texts for all levels. Our growing library of theater resources includes the annual publication of the Dramatists Guild Resource Directory. Our New Kittredge Shakespeare Series is growing and we will complete the performance-based run of titles over the next few years. In addition to that, we also publish texts that fill gaps in areas of Russian and Mycology.
