Fokus Ry

Fokus ry is a student association with over 300 active members at the University of Jyväskylä for students in social sciences. More specifically Fokus is an organization for those studying social and public policy, sociology or social work, but all social scientists are warmly welcome. Fokus is a student-led organization that takes care of its members, brings people together and works to make everyone’s student lives the best possible. Fokus organizes educational events (such as excursions to organizations) that help students gain skills needed in their studies and working life. Fokus also provides students with plenty of things to do in their free time, such as sports, cultural events and parties.
