Celebrating artisans and helping them grow. Tales have been told throughout the history of mankind. As humans, we are better suited to remember and emotionally connect with others through storytelling than any other medium. Each of our products has a tale inspired by the artisan’s life, whether it is the tale of the struggle to ends meet or the stories of techniques learned through decades of rural knowledge passed down from generations or within families and communities. The stories about the products that uphold their tradition, and are expressions of their culture; Or the tales of simply letting out the creativity that awakens us to our interconnectedness and uniqueness. While we celebrate artisans, we also understand that many artisans are dependent on daily production and sales. Some make functional products of everyday use; others create one-of-a-kind pieces. Due to the Pandemic, their life came to a halt — there were no pop-up markets or fairs. The sales have dwindled, raw material is hard to come by, feeding their families is getting difficult. With the travel ban, tourism came to a grinding halt, which means the big chunk of earnings has vanished. Highly skilled artisans often live in remote areas; with the help of our partners, we are trying to reach out to as many as we can. Along with our partners, We pledge to alleviate the pain of these artisans by showcasing their work internationally where their work is highly valued. When you buy their products, you help them rise.
