Followtheboat

followtheboat is Jamie and Liz, two Brits on a boat with a cat called Millie. We've been telling the story of our sailing adventures since 2005. Built in 1989, our boat SY Esper is an Oyster 435 cutter-rigged ketch. So far we have sailed from Turkey to Indonesia through Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, Yemen, Oman, India, Maldives, Malaysia, and Thailand. We've braved pirates, gales and coral reefs. Now we are heading to JAPAN and Alaska! Each week we upload the next episode of our adventure, and we throw in a few extras where we answer your questions. Yes, there are palm-tree days and the wind can be kind.but there are plenty of times when the sh.(you-know-what) hits the fan, and we're not afraid to show you!
