Fonade - Financial Fund For Development Projects

State`s Agency for Development - Industrial and Commercial Enterprise with Autonomous Equity located in Colombia, South America. The Financial Fund of Development Projects, Fonade, has as its main objective to be an agent in any stage of the cycle of development projects, through the preparation, funding and administration of research and the preparation, administration, management and execution of development projects in any of its stages. FONADE is also committed to the socioeconomic growth of Colombia, developing those projects included in the National Development Plan’s objectives, Main FONADE’s functions, on this link: FONADE´S Social Policy: As the goal established in Fonade’s Strategic Plan where its main objective is to “Consolidate FONADE as the State’s Agency for Development, socially responsible, profitable and competitive in the national environment”, it has been decided to strengthen the implementation of the Social Policy promoted by the Presidency of Colombia in the projects carried out or to administrate it in 1123 of the country’s municipalities, through a different approach towards having a labor related link with the vulnerable population. With FONADE’S Social Policy, have been generated thousands of direct jobs and indirect employments around the country. As part of FONADE’S Social Policy, and thanks to the Entity’s responsible financial practice, important contributions have been made, through different projects in execution in the following sectors, such as: Infrastructure for Education; Infrastructure for Social Welfare; Utilities Infrastructure; Transportation Infrastructure; Tourist and Sports Infrastructure; Territorial Development Infrastructure; Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship Projects; Mines and Hydrocarbons Projects, Productive Infrastructure, among many others, with an investment of over 3 billion pesos (USD 1.250 million).
