Mission La Fondation Jacques-de Champlain est un organisme de bienfaisance dédié à l'amélioration des soins préhospitaliers cardiovasculaires d’urgence en milieu rural québécois ainsi qu'à l'avancement de la recherche médicale dans le domaine cardiovasculaire. Objectifs 1) Favoriser la disponibilité en tout temps de premiers répondants formés en réanimation cardiorespiratoire et en défibrillation cardiaque dans les régions rurales du Québec. 2) Stimuler la recherche médicale dans le domaine cardiovasculaire en appuyant la recherche de jeunes chercheurs du Québec.
