We are a young company that has just launch the Alpha of our first major app. Foodata is the brainchild of Alanieta and Felix Colatanavanua. FooData was birthed out of the need to create awareness of various types of food around the world. About two years ago while buying food at the local market, we wanted to know what nutritional food value that were in the food we bought. We talked about the idea for a while and it grew into a database only to learn that nothing like this exists. Our main objective for FooData is to create an app that is easy for end users when they search for food and its nutritional value and how they can make wise choices with what they eat. Users are able to see what the food item looks like, the nutritional value, health benefits, history and a did you know fact all at the click of a button.
