Foodgistics

Foodgistics looks at the logistics of food waste and asks a simple question, can we move edible food surplus to people in need instead of to landfills? Using systems approaches, financial incentives and data science, Foodgistics works with organizations to help them better understand their contributions to the food waste problem and reroute produced food waste to people in need. With the help of our volunteers and staff, we will fight food waste by- educating people and businesses of the environmental, social and economic impacts of food waste- delivering food donations from restaurants to local shelters, food banks and churches, and - rerouting unavoidable food waste to composting facilities instead of to landfills.
