Fooquo

Company overview. fooquo was an experiment in bringing B2B commerce online for medium and big businesses within the hospitality supply chain and the Away From Home organized companies such us Restaurant Chains, Catering or food distribution companies. The platform provided industry Suppliers specific tools to have access to product providing a much more efficient business communication with their customers in a highly integrated B2B marketplace. During our R&D phase the platform facilitated over €18MM in negotiations. The core customer base were small to medium food industry companies across Spain. The company raised €300k in founding from Financial entities and Technology investors, and graduated from the Spain's #1 Food Industry Accelerator, Orizont in Navarra (2016). fooquo was shut down in 2019 due to challenges of raising the required capital to mature and scale the platform to more customers.
