For Dignity is a team of women lead by Heather Rayside, that work to stop human trafficking through retail and community awareness raising. As a member of the Freedom Business Alliance, we have nurtured strong partnerships with multiple organisations that are active in the prevention, rescue and restoration of affected people. As a result we have created an online boutique of high quality, contemporary fashion accessories and homewares which include sustainable and fair trade products. Our range reflect the empowerment and artisan skills of people at risk or rescued from trafficking and slavery. The sales provide life giving income for them. As a small business in Melbourne we promote ethical and sustainable shopping and raise awareness trafficking through a tailored event program: Together for Dignity There are times when we create a pop up store at large community ethical markets to engage with people already interested in ethical consumerism. We are so passionate about bringing change to the countless lives suffering under the largest growing international crime of human trafficking, that we not only ethically source our range but give 50% of our profits to NGO's working to combat slavery and trafficking.
