We see a future where period poverty is eradicated and socially and economically vulnerable women and girls have dignity, hope and opportunity through sustainable menstrual health management. For Her Dignity partners with international vetted affiliates who deploy a network of community leaders to distribute culturally appropriate and easily replicable resources, including education materials and dignity kits, to vulnerable women and girls in culturally conservative countries. “Period poverty” is understood to be poverty of education regarding menstruation leading to a culture of shame, and poverty of resources to deal with menstruation in a positive and life-fulfilling way.
