For your information (FYI) was launched in 2009 when Director Toni Cottingham saw a gap in the market for an Independant Flooring Consultant with expertise with moisture related issues in subfloors. Toni has a vast range of experience in many aspects of the flooring industry and brings her years of knowledge and experience to this company, coupled with further extensive training in moisture testing and reporting. FYI works with the building and flooring trade providing independant moisture testing, failure investigations, and site consultations. Over the past 4 years the business has grown and the company has become well repsected in the industry. We are a valuable resource for many commercial and residential flooring companies, project managers, insurance companies and architects. The ultimate vision of FYI to improve education of moisture related issues and testing procedures in this industry in an attempt to reduce site failures due to moisture problems. We provide independant moisture testing and site consultation services to the flooring and building trade relating to moisture in subfloors. These services include concrete, timber and floor coverings. I also provide full site investigations, failure reporting and recommendations as required. All testing and reporting is to the AS/NZ standards
