Forbes Engineering Sales, Inc. covers the six New England states and Upstate NY with offices in Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York state. Our company has been in business for over 50 years. We provide extensive experience in our core competency areas of magnetics/EMC, industrial controls, sensors, connectors, transformers, power transmission, controls, motion control and motors. 50% of our products that we support are for custom designs direct to OEM's, and 50% of our sales go through distribution and systems integrators. We sell at a technical level to both mechanical and electrical design engineers at OEM accounts. We also offer technical assistance as well as sales and marketing support for our select key distributors. We work with OEMs to provide the best technical solution to their electromechanical applications, while simultaneously working with purchasing on cost reduction projects. Forbes Engineering Sales, Inc. is known for extensive knowledge of the industrial customer base and associated distribution channels throughout the Northeast. Our key industries include: automation equipment vacuum process equipment semiconductor process equipment packaging, printing, and document handling robotics plastic equipment food process equipment medical equipment instrumentation and lab equipment We're in constant contact through email, iPads and cell phones. And we track applications closely using the Sales Force contact database. We exhibit at appropriate trade shows, provide direct mail/email advertising and automated lead follow up. We also provide on site training for distributors, as well as customer seminars and direct email product announcements to all appropriate distribution.
