Foresee Associates was formed in April 2009, by Colin McGowan and John Harkin following completion of their respective thirty-year careers with Strathclyde Police where they amassed extensive specialist experience in the world of resilience, emergency planning, major events, and major incident management. As the name suggests, Foresee Associates is not in the hindsight business. Our touchstone is preparedness. In our professional experience, sound planning and preparation lead to a more professional response and to a rapid, more effective recovery. Our website Foresee Resilience is a rebranding but continues to offer the same wide range of training exercises and consulting services in the world of resilience, emergency planning, crisis management, and civil contingencies. We will provide you with the expertise and the necessary practical tools and templates to enhance your state of readiness to deal with a crisis, emergency or other disruptive challenge. To support us in the delivery of our highly accredited services, Foresee has over 20 associates from both police and non-police backgrounds, with a broad range of contingency planning and other key specialisms in crisis and emergency management. The range of services we provide are designed to help our clients be better prepared to face their next disruptive challenge, crisis or emergency. Our unique approach is what differentiates us – we will spend time researching the client experience to tailor bespoke solutions that meet their needs.
