Forest Learning Alliance

Forest Learning Alliance is a group of schools and other educational professionals based in East Berkshire who are working together to provide high quality support for all areas of school and teacher development. It is led by Uplands Primary School and Nursery, who were designated a National Teaching School in March 2013 - August 2021. The Forest Learning Alliance is dedicated to ensuring the best possible outcomes for every child in our schools. We offer opportunities for collaboration, learning and working together to create a network in which high-quality professional development and support is shared. Through dynamic leadership, with opportunities for staff development from the very outset of their careers, we aim to inspire a team who will challenge and support each other and provide the best education for our children. The Alliance has a strategic board which consists of representatives from schools, universities and a local authority. This board controls the governance of the Forest Learning Alliance.
