Formforge

Formforge is a custom design and digital fabrication lab specializing in art, engineering, and the construction of complex and technically challenging projects. We work as practical inventors, with the motivation to design soulful and interesting things that embrace and celebrate the complexities of the real world. Our work is often site-specific - designed to have a particular relationship, with its spatial environment. The narrative is governed by a context and a storyline; hence everything that we create becomes unique. Our design approach is parametric, which involves computational thinking and algorithms. It may be large, complex and multi-dimensional or simple in geometry and small in scale. We can integrate a range of elements and materials including metal, wood, solid surface, glass, composites, textiles, lighting, digital media, and electronics. Our team consists of parametric experts, architects, industrial designers, engineers, specialized fabricators, and expert craftsmen. Supported by advanced CAD software, we operate at the forefront of digital fabrication.
