Formwork is an architectural consultancy providing advice on design, technique, leadership, and strategy. We collaborate with architectural practices to help navigate the increasing complexity that success and growth often bring. It was founded by Kevin Gray, an architect whose work is characterised by precise, thoughtful research and a deep understanding of the functions and technologies within buildings. His work also demonstrates a commitment to wider social and contextual issues. Kevin’s working methodology is grounded in collaboration. He encourages decision making based on investigation, evidence and judgement as well as a sensitivity for the less tangible aspects which bring a project to life. Kevin’s background includes work for practices in the UK and abroad including Ushida Findlay, Foster + Partners, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and Duggan Morris Architects.
