Started in 2010, Foroohar is a home-based textile designing business with main focus on Silk Painting, Hand Painting and Hand screen printing on fabric. The vision of Foroohar is driven by the love of colors that brighten up our lives. Everyone loves to wear nice clothes. Foroohar aims to capture this quite literally. We adorn women & men with the clothes and accessories that offer much more than a look: we synergize color and style to give everyone the look they desire. Our product lines include, hand screen-printed and hand painted silk, cotton, chiffon; and viscose scarfs; hand painted, hand screen-printed and embroidered eastern and western women wear which includes casual tops and tunics in silk and cotton and long shirts. Every hand painted and hand screen-printed piece is crafted with special care keeping in mind the needs of our clients and the philosophy of bringing to life the colorful, adventurous inner world of our clients, which is full of dreams but is not visible to the outer world. Foroohar’s work philosophy is based on environmentally safe and sustainable practices. The paints and dyes used in making hand painted shirts and scarves are natural and non-toxic. The work is done carefully in separate dyeing and painting rooms with proper ventilation and sewerage system so as to maintain an eco-friendly work environment. With high-quality fabric and paints/dyes, our finished product is not only of superior quality but also speaks volume of our commitment to environmental responsibility.
