Forsports Foundation

The project uses the strength of sports as an engine and effective medium for development and awareness creation is thought of, designed and ran based on the circumstances on the ground. It is not an imported idea but local efforts to address local issues affecting the youth and children of Ghana and Africa. Sports is not only goals and fun. It means more. It has a huge potential in many areas. Individual sporting disciplines internationality and popularity can not be underestimated. What is little known about sports is how it can be used as an effective, efficient, sustainable and cheap way of dealing with issues in the areas of health, education, ethnicity and violence, discipline, team work, development cooperation, gender issues, fighting all forms of discrimination, awareness creation in many areas, fair play, etc. Forsports Foundation will encourage academic education, vocational training and sporting prowess, by providing facilities, teachers and coaches for the children to interact with. It is a core part of the foundation’s culture, which believes that health, and fitness also brings discipline, ambition, healthy competitiveness and reward. Therefore, as the foundation establishes itself financially, it will invest heavily in the construction of sport and educational excellence centre and the provision of educational spaces, sports equipment, allowing the children to truly benefit from the upside sporting activity brings.
