With humble beginnings in 1919, the Forte family began selling produce out of the back of the family pick-up truck. Over time, the need for fresh produce grew in the community and Forte’s Market was born. The Forte name became well known for quality, fair pricing, and exceptional customer service. This quickly drew the attention of restaurants, caterers, hotels, and institutions across Southern Ontario. Forte Produce replaced the market to focus on wholesale distribution. With nearly a century of buying power behind us, we’re able to provide customized programs with unparalleled service to our customers.
