Forth Valley Welcome | Supporting New Scots with Dignity and Purpose Born out of the humanitarian response to the Syrian refugee crisis, Forth Valley Welcome has since grown into a trusted local charity covering Clackmannanshire and Stirlingshire supporting refugees and asylum seekers from across the globe. We help New Scots settle into life in Scotland with confidence, dignity, and a sense of belonging. Our work is driven by a simple but powerful mission: To create welcoming communities where families can build their own networks and feel truly at home To collaborate with local partners in providing vital support in education, language learning, and employment pathways To advocate for accessible, compassionate services at both local and national levels for people seeking sanctuary In recognition of our impact, we were honoured to receive The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2020.
