Fortwell is a complimentary debt strategy offered through Cain International focused on development loans of £10-£50 million across residential, commercial, and alternative sectors in the UK and Ireland. Fortwell currently has over £793 million in assets under management and is one of the largest lenders in the care home construction sector in the UK, funding 4,600 care beds. Since 2014, Cain International has committed $5.6 billion to premier sponsors across more than 26 mortgage-secured debt transactions against prime real estate developments in gateway cities across the UK, Europe, and the US. As of 31 March 2022, the firm's debt business manages assets of $3.2 billion.
