Forum App

Forum is an application that connects the youth with organisations that provide opportunities, such as travel opportunities, projects, scholarships, conferences, training and competitions. Our goal is to help the youth so they become socially more active and open. The problem is two-sided. First, most organisations do not have enough resources for an effective marketing strategy. Also, their promotion cannot reach their target audience and is not cost-effective. Sometimes the quality or quantity of the applicants is not adequate. These problems are present in most EU countries. On the other side, the youth is faced with several problems in society. Most opportunities are promoted via Facebook and email, although young people do not tend to use these platforms. It is hard to find relevant and worthwhile opportunities, because of the information overload. Forum is the answer! This platform creates an information channel between the two sides. The youth can use the application for free. They will receive a personalised feed every day, which contains relevant posts of opportunities. There are other functions such as filtered search engine and gamification that motivates them to apply for more opportunities. Organisations, for example, universities, NGOs, institutes and student organisations, can pay for a monthly subscription so that they can promote cost-effectively while reaching their target audience.
