Forward Interior

Forward is an online library for Interior designers searching for environmentally sustainable finishes, furniture and fittings. Our aim is to equip designers with the tools to specify qualified products in their projects. We are fueled by a desire for Australian buildings to celebrate sustainable and local craftsmanship for a brighter future. Within Forward Interior there are currently three main libraries: THE GREEN STARS: With eight categories and over 100 suppliers listed the Supplier library endeavors to make the process of finding Australian Green Star approved products a breeze. The Library consists of the following Certification Schemes that are recognised by the Green Building Council of Australia: GECA Global Green Tag PEFC FSC Carpet Institute of Australia - Environmental Certification Scheme Environmental Choice New Zealand AFRDI THE WATER SAVERS: The Water Savers page directs consumers and designers towards the most water efficient tapware in the market today, as per the stringent WELS star rating system. THE LOCALS: Forward Interior also celebrates local craftsmanship and manufacturing with The Locals featuring only Australian made furniture from the country’s top designers and makers.
