A healing hand, a force for change’ Mission Statement: Equipping Congolese girls and women to go from surviving to thriving. Our goal at Foundation Tamar is to support the victims of sexual violence on an emotional and psychological level through holistic healing programs to then reintegrate them back into society - first providing them with life and work skill training. Beliefs- We believe in women healing from their negative experiences and using it to shape a better life for themselves- We believe in providing women survivors of sexual violence with crucial support in their endeavours to establish sustainable livelihoods with access to jobs- We believe in raising young girls with the skills and the confidence they need to find their ambitions to shift society with.
