Founded in Canada (FiC) is a national platform built to help founders, startups, and builders stop guessing and start building. We’re creating the single most powerful community, discovery engine, and hub for Canadian entrepreneurs — a dynamic, tech-powered directory that cuts through the noise and puts every program, funder, partner, and support organization in one place. Because right now, Canada’s startup ecosystem is fractured. Critical resources are scattered across hundreds of websites, PDFs, and pitch decks. Builders are expected to know what to Google, who to ask, or which hallway to walk down to get support. We think that’s backwards. So we’re fixing it. At the heart of FIC is a living, breathing directory of everything founders need to grow in Canada. Accelerators, incubators, grant programs, government supports, industry associations, co-working spaces, talent platforms, tech tools, and more — all searchable, sortable, and verified. We're doing the work to map the ecosystem, so founders don’t have to. But we’re not just a database — we’re building an operating system for early-stage innovation. We run FutureFounders, a no-bullshit program for innovators who want to build but aren’t sure where to start. We host founder-led events, networking experiences, and ecosystem spotlights to help people plug in faster. We partner with accelerators, investors, and support orgs to amplify what already exists — and fill the gaps where things don’t. Founded in Canada exists because we believe more founders should make it past the first 100 days. Because we know the best ideas aren’t always the loudest. And because we’re tired of seeing Canadian startups waste time, money, and momentum trying to find help instead of actually building.
