Fountainhead Press is a conscientious, open-minded, and practical publishing house specializing in English Composition and Communication. We are a higher-education press that aims to make the classroom, rather than the market, the “editor” of our texts. In developing our products, we focus on the needs of both instructors and students by paying special attention to practicality of design, product cost, and current pedagogical methods. Because classroom needs drive the production of our texts, our publications’ innovations are introduced by the professors who write and the students who use our books, rather than by our need to sell a new edition. Our goal is to produce relevant, affordable, eco-friendly products that meet the needs of today’s higher-education classrooms.
