Most organisation do not have the resources or time to properly support their staff with adequate training. Senior staff members are often stretched to capacity and training budgets for external training are rarely adequate. Most therefore default to “on-the-job” training. This can be a very inefficient and “hit or miss” process. Project Finance transactions take a long time to close and even after working on several transactions junior team members may not have had the opportunity to grasp critical skills and concepts. Even where the option to send junior team members for a two or three day external course exists, the problem is not adequately solved because most of these courses rarely cover essential knowledge in the detail required by the serious practitioner. Four Quadrant Project Finance was set up in 2011 to offer training that avoids these shortfalls. Not constrained by a two or three day format, our on-line courses start from first principles and cover the subject matter in detail. We draw on the knowledge and experience of practising lawyers, bankers and sponsors and package it to create comprehensive, creative and engaging content. With a 12 month self-paced study period, course participants are able to delve into the subject matter in detail and have plenty of time (and a safe environment) to engage with an instructor for unlimited Q&A. Savings on travel, transport and time out of the office make our courses great “value for money” and offer consistency in the training delivered.
