Fpaa Studio

FPAA is an architecture and design office founded in 2010 by Alessia Fiori and Giacomo Pietrapiana. The office combines two different cultural and professional backgrounds in an intimate and emotional creative place. The research take on the mix of styles, shapes and materials, with the intention of creating every time a new way of seeing things: without presuming to make or break, but with the ambition of transforming. The design practice combines conceptual sign with the research of the construction details for tailoring an architectural dress. The discipline of the office is based on the architectural design, from new buildings to redevelopment of the existing ones, from the scale of the urban block to the interior design, both residential and commercial. The creative process is usually encroaching on the artistic disciplines, from visual arts to music, using founders experiences in the contemporary art environment and frequent collaborations with young artists.
