Francesca Maffeo Gallery, a gallery for contemporary photography, represented and exhibited the work of emerging and established artists. Represented photographers working predominantly in the field of documentary, storytelling, narrative and photojournalism. Proud to have represented acclaimed artists as follows: Laura Pannack, Matthew Finn, Trish Morrissey, Alexander Missen, Sophie Harris-Taylor, Tim Richmond, Rhiannon Adam, Spencer Murphy and Jennifer Pattison. Francesca Maffeo Gallery opened in June 2016 with a permanent gallery space in the heart of Leigh-on-Sea, hosting 17 exhibitions and amassing a strong press profile, securing its reputation as a thriving gallery for contemporary photography. During this time forging strong relationships with private collectors as well as contributing to the acquisition for public collections. Francesca Maffeo Gallery launched as a pop-up gallery in November 2018, enabling them to expand their exhibition programme throughout London and other UK venues. The gallery pop-up model is increasingly becoming a firm choice for many galleries, affording the opportunity to work with exciting spaces in exciting places, reaching a wider audience.
