In 1960, Alukkas J. Varghese founded his company in Thrissur - the cultural capital of Kerala renowned for a rich tradition of jewellery. His store was acclaimed for its jewellery craftsmanship and quality, and continued to expand. Several years later, his son Francis established his own firm after imbibing the lessons learned from his father. Since then, Francis Alukkas has become synonymous with handcrafted gold jewellery, creative excellence, and innovative designs that are a mix of heritage and the futuristic. As one of leading jewellery houses in Kerala, Francis Alukkas sells only 916 purity hallmarked jewellery. From the legacy of our parent company, we have absorbed lessons in the finest craftsmanship.
