Franklinton Rising

Franklinton Rising is a nonprofit organization focused on 'breaking the cycle of poverty' by teaching life and job skills to area youth in Columbus, Ohio - the oldest and poorest neighborhood in the 1.8m Columbus MMA. We provide paid internships and help our graduates get hired into great construction or trade companies. Franklinton Rising acquires lots and homes for renovation or construction and operates on-the-job training to teach neighborhood residents skills in the construction trades that raise their lifetime earning potential.
