FraudSentinel' started as a hobby from Network Security specialists with experience dating back from the 80s. We needed a solid IP detection API to monitor frauds at different levels. Today we use our REST-API and monitoring pixel in almost everything, from small blog projects, to monitoring advertisement traffic, to detecting frauds in our e-commerce web sites. E-Commerce web sites have trouble identifying fraudulent transactions. In most of the cases, thieves hide behind a Proxy or VPN that we detect. Having the fraud score of the customer’s IP coming with the orders, helps identify transactions and decide if an order is suspicious. It helps web sites owners with identifying orders that would result in charge back. In advertisement, over 20% of all traffic bought are bots which also reach web sites from Proxy, VPN, or Abused IPs. Our API helps measure the quality of traffic sources, and in most cases, the place you get the traffic from will reimburse you for fraudulent traffic. We use both on site and live databases with millions of IPs cached on our servers, and billions of IPs on live databases worldwide. Our Fraud Monitoring Pixel is free to use, and implementing our REST-API takes only a few lines of code. The goal is make sure every site owner can measure their exposure and have the tools to prevent it.
