My work concerns often contamporary contradistinctions as body vs mind or the organic vs the technological. I try to contrast these contradistinctif elements with each other at the same time and to unite them with each other. The second and third dimensionality of my work is for me an expression of the physical and intellectual/spiritual being of the human. The intellectual/spiritiual (immaterial) part is being expressed by painting, because the paint gifs a lot more space to the fantasy and through that stays elusive just like thoughts; space indicates more the feeling of the body, it is concrete. But I also let these two elements integrate with each other as with people the physical part and the intellectual/spiritual part not really seprable are. A other important theme in my work is the experiece of space and the alienation of it. This really comes forward in my three dimensional paintings, with the theme citylandscapes (inner and outer spaces) here I combine mindprojection (changes all the time, the thoughts move around) with actual movement in the space that during the proces of paiting on the three dimensional canvas takes, this results in layert and slightly alienated movements which come from of the wall in to the room. My installations are a costant experiment round the spatial experience of the extendet moment to traslate this into expression. The extendet moment is the experience of the moment in a certain place but with the thoughts of where your coming from and where your going and al those other thoughts that oceur at that moment.
