Our belief is simple; those who can donate blood safely, should be able to donate blood. Working with the largest LGBT charities and organzations in the UK, we believe that new evidence, scientific advancements well as the ongoing need to maintain a sufficient blood supply call for the current regulations around blood donation to be re-considered. With over supporting our campaign, we have now secured the review announced by the Public Health Minister Jane Ellison on the 25th of November 2015. FreedomToDonate is now leading on ensuring the review takes place based on the best possible medical evidence and results in the best possible outcome for our supporters.
