Fremont Micro Devices is a privately held fabless semiconductor company that is fast becoming a leader in non-volatile memory products and high efficiency power management solutions. It is founded in Fremont, California in 2003 and is funded by various international venture capitals. We now have offices in USA, Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China. The key members are educated from the top universities in the United States and have over 50 years of design experience in the Silicon Valley combined. Our advisor team is comprised of an ex-Vice Dean of Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a professor from the University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong and a veteran startup company founder. Fremont Micro Devices strives not only to be the best IC design house in China, but also in the world. We engage in original designs and have filed many patents. As with most successful international design houses we have a world class design team in addition to a strong technology team. We own or co-own with foundries most of the technologies used in our products.
