Fresh Truck

Fresh Truck is a Boston-based nonprofit operating mobile produce markets out of converted school buses. We bring fresh, affordable food directly to neighborhoods that have limited access to grocery stores, meeting people where they are and removing barriers to getting the food they want and need. Our mobile markets are more than trucks. They are consistent, welcoming spaces designed around choice, affordability, and dignity. We accept multiple forms of payment including SNAP, HIP, OTC, cash, and card, and we prioritize high-quality, culturally relevant food that reflects the preferences and traditions of the communities we serve. By showing up week after week, our team builds trust and relationships that turn first-time shoppers into regulars. Fresh Truck believes access to good food is foundational to community resilience. As rising food costs and policy changes continue to impact households across Boston, demand at our markets keeps growing. In response, we continue to invest in our mobile market model, partnerships with local organizations, and community-informed operations to ensure fresh food remains accessible, affordable, and rooted in neighborhood food culture
