Fresher Globe is an alternative media website, based in the vibrant and culturally diverse city of Jakarta, Indonesia. Incepted by academic founders studying in university from Indonesia and Australia, a group constantly pondering about the peculiar questions stumbled upon life; Fresher Globe was a product of their curiosity – covering issues, topics, theories and movements surrounding the world of a millenial’s life. Fresher Globe provides critical analysis, facts & statistics, curated with neutral perspective, styled with a mixture between light satirical styling and weighted content in analytical approach uplifting the nuance of creativity and freedom of thought. Our perspective is our product. Fresher Globe has an ideological and contextual meaning that is mutually relevant towards its vision and defined market segment. “Fresher” is a term coined to describe first year students at University and commonly used as a name for first week university social events run by student committees, which is recognizable as the “busiest and most fun weeks at the University”. Therefore, we want to collectively plug in each positive element that is consisted in the word of “Fresher”, combined with a “global” connotation into one synergized concept of “Media Platform & Network”.
