Fressnapf Maxi Zoo

Fressnapf | Maxi Zoo is Europe’s leading omnichannel retailer for pet food, pet supplies, and pet care solutions. Since the opening of the first “Freßnapf” store in 1990 in Erkelenz (Germany), the company has grown into the largest pet retail group in Europe. Founder Torsten Toeller continues to serve as owner and majority shareholder. From our headquarters in Krefeld, we manage a constantly expanding international network of over 2,800 Fressnapf and Maxi Zoo stores, supported by more than passionate employees (incl. franchise partners) from over 50 nations. While most German stores are operated by independent franchise partners, our locations in other European countries are fully company-owned. With our vision “Happier Pets. Happier People.”, we offer customers a seamless omnichannel experience across stores, online shops, and digital services. Our product range includes top brands from all price categories as well as exclusive private-label products available only at Fressnapf | Maxi Zoo. Beyond retail, we are committed to making a positive impact: Through our “together for pets” initiative, we support numerous animal welfare projects and help improve the lives of pets in need across Europe. Our mission: We do everything we can to make life easier, better, and happier for pets – and the people who love them.
