Frew Conservation

Historic Buildings Consultancy and Training Frew Conservation are independent building consultants and training providers. We provide impartial advice and training to a wide range of clients, taking a lead role in advising building owners or a supporting role when working closely with other building professionals and contractors. Our experience with traditional masonry buildings, particularly those built of stone and lime mortar, is the focus of much of our consultancy work. We provide both technical and practical support for most conservation and repair projects. Services include survey and inspection, materials analysis and matching, technical specification, site supervision and quality control. Working in partnership with other specialist craftspeople and consultants, we also facilitate and deliver bespoke training courses and seminars to various organisations including Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) schemes.
