Stavroula Adameitis aka FRIDA LAS VEGAS is a Sydney-based artist and designer of Australiana-infused Pop Art. Inspired by her memories growing up in suburban Australia during the technicolour 1980s, Stavroula's FRIDA LAS VEGAS universe remixes nostalgia with glamour to create a bold and humorous statement across visual art, fashion, homewares and accessories. Whether she is creating statement fashion pieces, neon-drenched hotel rooms, immersive fine dining experiences, collaborations with iconic brands or OTT accessories, no medium is safe from Stavroula's FRIDA LAS VEGAS 'haute kitsch' aesthetic. Stavroula’s instantly-recognisable FRIDA LAS VEGAS textile designs have been embraced by fashion iconoclasts Katy Perry, Sam Smith, Kate Miller-Heidke and a cult following of glamazons worldwide. From her roots interning with Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field in New York City, to working in the Australian animation industry before starting her FRIDA LAS VEGAS journey in 2013, Stavroula's singular mission is to positively impact the world through the unity of art and fashion. Stavroula lives and works in fabulous Sydney, Australia and acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora nation as the traditional custodians of the land she feels lucky to call home.
