Friends Church

Started in 1997 on the SAIT college campus, our goal was to build a church for people who didn't feel like they fit the traditional church community. On Sundays, we endeavor to avoid religious jargon and hard to understand ceremony in order to create a safe environment for people to explore spiritual principles in the Christian tradition. With one of our core values being action-oriented spirituality, our community adopted a few third world communities that we felt led to assist. Most recently we made a seven year commitment to a village in Guatamala to work with the local community to improve the quality of water and education. Over-arching everything we do is our mission to help people live like Christ in their world.
