Friends In Action

Friends in Action provides education, information, skills training and support for family caregivers.the largest health care workforce in the US. Families who care for a loved one often do so with little preparation and minimal support.while trying to juggle jobs, children and other life responsibilities. All of this juggling creates tremendous stress for the caregiver, leading to their own health problems, workplace issues, and family conflict. Friends in Action helps families navigate these challenges though evidence-based education programs that help caregivers build their "toolbox" of resources and strategies. With their toolbox in hand, caregivers can provide good care while taking care of themselves too.
