FRONTIER MEDIX is a Paramedical support team for Sporting & Special events in the Southern Cape, South Africa. We provide qualified Advanced Life Support Paramedics, Rescue Technicians, Doctors, Nurses & support staff (health & safety officers, VOC command, etc) to a wide variety of events (incl sporting, festivals, film, concerts, VIP, remote site - mining, oil & gas). FRONTIER is a registered events medical company & is registered with the WC Health Dept. We provide medical rescue special access vehicles, medical tents & facilities as well as other infrastructures to events (incl rsk assessments, medical plans, pre-race checks). We place a strong emphasis on the health & safety aspects of events and assist in mitigating risk to your event by providing various fail-safes, checks & contingencies. Although we are based here in the Southern Cape (Garden Route)- we cover the entire Western Cape & have assisted with events deep into the Northern Cape as well as special projects across our borders. SPORTING - we cater for both boutique events to some of the largest sport events in the country! Our trail medics are themselves outdoor enthusiasts, trail runners & MTBers - where accessing the patients & the trails requires a certain level of fitness & an inclination for the outdoors. Our special projects division includes close protection Paramedics who have both real life experience as qualified Paramedics and as CP officers in the security industry. These medics are appropriately registered with HPCSA, PSIRA & hold the needed licences to perform the tasks at hand. Assignments of this nature often include VIP escorting as part of a larger team, or deployment to foreign countries where additional training & skills in advantageous to the safety of the team.
