Frontiers Research Foundation, a not-for-profit organization based in Lausanne, Switzerland, was established in 2006 by Henry and Kamila Markram with the mission of accelerating scientific solutions for living healthy lives on a healthy planet. It has launched and governs 2 highly successful, global projects:*Frontiers for Young Minds (2013): a freely available science journal edited by kids, for kids; educating 49M+ readers worldwide about cutting-edge science, and directly engaging young people in the peer-review process, interacting with the world's leading scientists, including Nobel Prize winners. https://kids.frontiersin.org/*Frontiers Planet Prize (2022): This international science competition offers three awards of $1 million USD each for scientific breakthroughs that show the greatest potential to help keep humanity within any one of the nine boundaries, as described by the Stockholm Resilience Centre.
