Venetian Marble Plastering isn't a new process. It's just not very well known in the UK. It's something that has been used in Italian architecture for centuries to create beautiful walls and ceilings. Traditional Venetian Plastering is based on crushed marble powders and slaked lime that's been baked in wood-fire kilns and aged for 8/10 months. Using these natural products means that everything we have is VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) free and eco-friendly, not to mention that they also have many positive characteristics. These include having great insulating and anti-bacterial properties, being non-flammable/combustible, whilst also being highly resistant and versatile. It's this that allows us to create that tailored surface finish for a variety of different situations: be it a wet room, or a feature chimney breast.
