Fumi Studio

FUMI was created in 2009 by Piotr Furmankiewicz and Mateusz Michalak with the aim of supporting young animation adepts. For this reason its activity has started from the production of short animated authour-driven films. Since then in cooperation with the most talented Polish creators, FUMI has produced several short animated, artistic films that had brought the studio over 140 prizes from national and international festivals. FUMI studio is also working commercially – it has produced a few hundred advertisments made in cooperation with Polish and foregin clients. In 2012 FUMI has been recognized for its production achievements and recieved a prize for The Best Producer of Polish short, animated and documentary films at the 52nd Krakow Film Festival, funded by KIPA (Polish Audiovisual Producers Chamber of FUMI is the company that places a lot of emphasis on versality and diversity. Its expirience and possibilities allow it to approach every project with a great comprehension. The studio offers support on each stage of production – from development to final product. FUMI also invests in its own productions in the same time coopereting with the best animation directors.
